About PLDL

Port Ludlow Digital Life (PLDL) is a non-profit organization established in 1996 to help educate those with computer or other digital needs.  Over the years, it established special interest groups for Microsoft Office, Apple products, and digital photography.  Normally, photo editing, digital photography, and 'all things digital'  groups meet once each month at the Bay Club in Port Ludlow.  Current Covid restrictions prohibit these meetings.  But, online meetings, newsletters, and this web site have helped fill the void.

Once a year, the digital photography group sponsors a photo exhibit at the Bay Club.  This year's exhibit is online.  In 2000, PLDL established a scholarship/grant program for Chimacum Schools and donates funds to help provide special education students with digital services.  In 2011, PLDL began work with Habitat for Humanity to provide refurbished computers and other gear to new Habitat home owners.  These programs are supported by PLDL dues, donations from members, and donations made for computer assistance by PLDL members to Port Ludlow residents.  PLDL accepts used computers of recent vintage for this program.  Please note - while good used computers are needed, used printers and other devices are not.  If interested in donating, please contact PLDL at pldigitallife@live.com.

No skill levels are required to join PLDL.  Whether you take photos with a smartphone or pro model camera, want to improve your editing skills, or just want to improve your digital computer skills, you are welcome in our friendly, helpful club membership.  Membership dues are $35 annually June 1 through May 30.

A membership invitation form can be downloaded from the menu and mailed to the club along with your dues. Double click on the form to enlarge and you will see a download arrow on the upper left.  Thank you.
